Tourism Sub-Alliance under the University Alliance of the Silk Road
Current Memebers
The Tourism Sub-Alliance was established in 2019 under the University Alliance of the Silk Road. It aims to strengthen inter-university cooperation among Silk Road countries in education, research, and innovation within the tourism and hospitality industry.
The Sub-Alliance held its first in-person meeting in Hong Kong in 2023, where members shared post-COVID tourism recovery experiences from their respective countries. We met again in Tashkent in 2025 to exchange perspectives on hospitality and tourism education across different universities.
